The Role: As a Conveyancing Finance Assistant, you will be an integral part of our conveyancing team, ensuring smooth financial operations related to property transactions. You will handle financial transactions, liaise with clients and solicitors, and maintain accurate records. A key part of your role will be preparing completion statements to ensure all financial aspects of property transactions are accurately recorded.

• Prepare, process, and reconcile financial transactions related to property sales and purchases.
• Produce accurate completion statements for property transactions.
• Assist with the management of client accounts and client funds in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support the conveyancing team by handling invoices, payments, and banking documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including spreadsheets and internal systems.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties regarding financial matters.
• Assist with month-end reporting and other finance-related tasks as required.

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally within a legal or property environment.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Experience preparing completion statements or similar financial reports is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good understanding of financial processes and compliance regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
