Security Team is seeking a proactive and professional team member to assist us in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the safety of our staff, visitors, and premises—while providing outstanding customer service.

The Security Team provides a comprehensive security service across the main hospital site at Southend, operating in all weather conditions. As part of this front-line service, you'll need to be polite, helpful, and tactful, while also being firm and able to remain calm under pressure. This is a highly visible role involving regular contact with staff, visitors, and members of the public.

• Answer general enquiries from patients and visitors

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to security incidents
• Monitoring of CCTV
• Production of security s

• GCSE or Equivalent
• A level

• Working Knowledge of CCTV and Access Control Systems
• Experience with other systems, i.e. panic alarms

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Dealing with members of the public
• Experience with physical restraint
• PMVA level 2 training
• Knowledge of DOLS and MCA framework
• Working for the NHS
