Advanced Practitioner- Fostering Team

We are currently recruiting an experienced Advanced Practitioner Social Worker to join our Fostering Recruitment Team on a permanent basis in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fostering professional who is passionate about recruiting, assessing, and supporting high-quality foster carers, helping to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the recruitment and assessment of prospective foster carers.

Complete high-quality Form F assessments and viability assessments. Provide professional guidance, support, and challenge within the fostering service Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners Contribute to service development and best practice within fostering recruitment Act as a role model and provide support to less experienced colleagues where required Essential Requirements Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration Minimum 3 years' current fostering experience Advanced Practitioner level experience Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, regulations, and best practice Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills Must be a driver with access to a car due to the nature of the role What Southend Offer Permanent contract with a supportive and experienced team Opportunities for professional development and career progression Competitive salary and benefits package Flexible and hybrid working options (where service allows) If you are an experienced fostering social worker ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
