We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Used Car Buyer to join our Pre-Owned team on a full-time basis in Southport
.

The successful candidate will call on and build relationships with automotive dealers, leasing companies, attend auctions/motor vehicle tenders and monitor online websites such as , social media sites and other relevant publications.

• Valuing vehicles offered for trade in
• Arranging direct purchase of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres
• Ensure online valuation leads are actioned
• Support retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets
• Ensure suitable stock mix is available
• Maintain strong relationships with the team
• Provide supporting documentation for all deals within approved time frames

• Previous experience working in a purchasing team
• Good knowledge of purchasing, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown
• Negotiation skills
• Valid drivers licence
• Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships
