An independent accountancy practice is looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to support a diverse portfolio of owner-managed business clients. The firm offers a supportive environment with a strong focus on professional development and client service.
You will work closely with senior team members and the practice owner, with clear responsibilities and regular one-to-one support. The role includes meaningful client interaction and the opportunity to apply technical expertise in a practical, commercial setting.

• Preparation of year-end accounts using a balance sheet approach.
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts and working papers.
• Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
• Using cloud-based accounting software to deliver accurate and timely work.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and service standards.

• Minimum of three years' experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Experience preparing accounts for limited companies and owner-managed businesses.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting software such as Xero (training can be provided where needed).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a professional approach to client interaction.
