A well-established Top 30 accountancy practice is looking to strengthen its private client tax offering with the appointment of a Private Tax Adviser. This role sits within a dedicated private tax team and offers exposure to a varied portfolio of individuals, families and owner-managed businesses.

The position combines advisory and compliance work, providing an opportunity to build long-term client relationships while developing technically across a broad range of personal tax matters. The firm promotes a collaborative culture with clear routes for progression and ongoing professional development.

• Deliver personal tax compliance and advisory services across a varied client portfolio.
• Manage personal workflows, deadlines and budgets effectively.
• Provide technical input on areas including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, trusts and allowances.
• Identify planning opportunities and potential areas of risk for clients.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Liaise with managers and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

• ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified.
• At least one year of post-qualification experience in personal or private client tax.
• Solid technical knowledge across personal tax and related advisory work.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
