Up Front Recruitment is working with a well-established, award-winning construction and manufacturing business delivering complex commercial and industrial projects across the UK. They are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth.

This is a well-rounded Quantity Surveyor role offering long-term stability, varied projects and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, technically strong commercial team.

The role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved from pre-contract through to final account, supporting the commercial performance of multiple projects across roofing, cladding and building envelope works.

Key responsibilities

* Managing project costs from tender through to final account

* Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment

* Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management

* Assessing variations, change control and commercial risk

* Supporting subcontractor procurement and account management

* Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial compliance

* Assisting with value engineering and cost control strategies

* Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting

What they are looking for

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or specialist subcontracting

* Background in roofing, cladding, building envelope or similar sectors preferred

* Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration

* Confident communicator able to work across site and office teams

* Organised, commercially aware and detail focused

* Degree qualified or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
