Lead alcoholic and non-alcoholic brewing at A-FRAME Brewing Co in Squamish, using recipe development, production planning, and quality control skills. Work within a cyclical schedule shaped by mobile canning operations.
As Head Brewer, you will manage production for A-FRAME Brewing Co’s Cabin Favorites, seasonals, one-off beers, and Non-Alcs. The role covers brewing, cellaring, inventory, packaging, scheduling, and production reporting. You will maintain a clean, safe facility while coordinating staff, equipment, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and direct production department operations
- Develop recipes, brew sheets, and costing sheets
- Manage brewing, fermentation, cellaring, and carbonation
- Maintain production schedules, inventory, and records
- Train production staff and support mobile canning
- Minimum two years of brewing experience
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
- Degree or diploma in brewing is an asset
- Valid Class 5 licence with clean driving record
- Ability to maneuver full 50-litre kegs safely
