An exciting fixed-term, part-time opportunity has arisen to join the Radiology team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This role will specifically support the implementation and delivery of the one-stop haematuria pathway, based within the newly opened Urology Diagnostic Unit at St Albans City Hospital. If you are an experienced Sonographer with strong clinical skills, a passion for delivering exceptional patient care within Ultrasound Services, and a commitment to improving pathways in line with best practice, we would welcome your application.

Responsibilities

  • To contribute to the operational duties of the ultrasound departments services across West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.
  • To be an effective member of the Ultrasound team, promoting the trust values through our workforce.
  • Provide a high standard of Sonographer/ultrasound services to radiologists and patients.
  • Complete ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
  • Supervision of junior staff, international recruits and students through induction and training programmes.
