AboutThe Role
Should you be ready to lead a team and ensure exceptional security and customer service in the courts and tribunal system, you will join OCS as a Security Supervisor. Days of working:
Monday‑Friday, 10 hours a day (overtime may alter start time to 07:00 and finish at 18:00). You will be part of an Employer of Choice that values your leadership and professional growth.
- Supervise the security team, providing exceptional first line manned guarding and customer service to all court users.
- Ensure compliance with all identified legislation, i.e. H&S, SIA Licensing & Risk Assessments.
- Ensure that all duties are carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, including monitoring of premises, CCTV and search channels.
- Act as point of contact for any security issues within the complex and record and report details of incidents.
- Cover duty manager on weekends on rotation.
- Manage team rotas and Timegate systems.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance will be completed for the successful candidate.
- Must hold a SIA Licence and have relevant security experience.
- Supervisory experience of security teams.
- Strong people and customer service skills.
- Good diligence and high standard of work.
- Effective communication skills.
Attendance Allowance of £1 per hour can be earned on contracted hours, subject to meeting certain attendance‑related criteria.
