Hertfordshire - QSW - Assessment Team

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment Team at Hertfordshire County Council, based in St Albans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete statutory assessments for children and families in line with legislation and local procedures.
Undertake Section 47 enquiries and child protection investigations where required.
Develop and implement robust child and family plans based on assessed need.
Work directly with children, parents, and carers to promote safety and positive change.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to ensure effective safeguarding outcomes.
Maintain high-quality case recording and ensure compliance with statutory timescales.

Pay Rate:

39.00 per hour Umbrella

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification (Degree or equivalent).
Social Work England Registration.
Recent experience within a Children's Assessment Team.
Sound knowledge of children's legislation, safeguarding, and statutory guidance.
Ability to manage competing demands within a fast-paced environment.
