Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal FTC

Position Overview

Provost Veterinary Group is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team in St Andrews on a 12-month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave.

This varied role involves a balance of consultations and surgical procedures, providing excellent opportunities to deliver high-quality patient care within an experienced team.

• Contract length: 12 months (fixed‑term)
• Location:
  
  St Andrews, Scotland
• Rota:
  Full‑time (40 hours a week), flexible patterns, 9 am‑7 pm duty shifts, 1 in‑5 Saturday mornings
• Supported facilities: 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental X‑ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, in‑house lab, designated cat, dog and isolation wards
• Practice environment:
  Cat‑friendly clinic, modern purpose‑built surgery
