We are working with a leading main contractor renowned for delivering high-quality, sustainable construction projects across healthcare, education, commercial, leisure, and public sector sectors in search of an experienced Site Manager to join their team on an 18-month fixed term contract. The Role
You will take ownership of site activities to ensure successful delivery of projects — safely, on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the implementation of the project management plan, site procedures, and documentation.
Overseeing quality management processes and ensuring compliance with specified requirements.
Driving excellent standards of health, safety, and environmental performance on site.
Managing direct labour and subcontractors, monitoring attendance, progress, and productivity.
Coordinating handover schedules, keys, spares, and completion documentation.
Maintaining accurate site diaries and allocation sheets.
Advising on buildability and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering high-quality, large-scale projects (£5m+), ideally in sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, or public sector.
Broad technical knowledge of modern construction techniques.
SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS card, in date.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
IT literate, confident with project management systems and reporting tools.
HNC/Degree, MCIOB, or equivalent professional or trade-based background.
Full UK driving licence.
