Senior Software Developer - Excel to Google Sheets Migration

Join a leading retail company in Switzerland during an exciting transformation phase. As part of their migration from M365 to Google Workspace, we’re seeking an experienced Software Developer to convert complex Excel macros to Google Sheets solutions.

In this 3 month contract role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition by:

• Analyzing and documenting existing Excel macros and VBA code to understand business logic and dependencies

• Converting complex Excel macros to Google Apps Script for Google Sheets

• Testing and validating migrated solutions to ensure functionality matches original requirements

• Collaborating with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs

• Documenting the migration process, code changes, and providing handover documentation

• Proven experience in software development with strong programming skills

• Expertise in Excel VBA and Google Apps Script

• Experience with
  Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets)

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

• Team player with excellent communication skills and a personable approach

• Available for at least a 3 month contract starting immediately

• German language skills are a plus

• Background in the retail industry
