Warehouse Operative Ambient, Chilled and Freezer Environment
Location:
Haydock, WA11
Pay: £13.39 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 14:00 22:00
Start:
Immediate
Contract:
Temporary ongoing
Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities- Working in ambient, chilled or freezer environments (PPE and additional breaks provided)
- Reviewing order requirements
- Picking products using hand scanners
- Operating manual handling equipment (pallet trucks, PPTs, trolleys)
- Loading vehicles for delivery
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
- Positive, can-do attitude
- PPT experience (valid licence desirable)
- Willingness to work in chilled or freezer areas
- Understanding of Health & Safety standards
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a DBS check
