Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer

£25k - £37k + Training & Benefits (overtime, pension scheme, company vehicle)

Our client is a well‑known name within the Building Services / Compliance industry. They are seeking a hardworking and multi‑skilled Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer to service a range of commercial, industrial and public sector client sites. Due to recently winning new contracts in the Midlands, applicants will need to be based within the region and happy to also travel further afield when required.

We can also consider applicants in the North West region, with good access to the M6.

Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley, Stoke‑on‑Trent, Telford, Crewe, Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Beeston, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Nuneaton, Coventry, Rugby, Royal Leamington Spa, Birmingham, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Worcester, Daventry.

• Must have experience working as a Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer
• Will ideally hold the TR19 and/or BS9999 tickets
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Flexible to travel as required
• Hardworking attitude
• Good literacy and IT skills

• Inspections and drop testing of Fire Dampers
• Remedial works on Fire Dampers, including repairs and replacements of components such as collars, links and TEK screws
• Fitting access doors
• Installing and replacing Fire Dampers
• Undertaking inspections and cleans on ductwork, AHUs, kitchen extract, canopies and ventilation systems
• Producing detailed technical service reports, with pre and post work photographs
• Identifying any performance/compliance issues within existing systems
• Working within teams to complete projects
• Adhering to strict safety guidelines

Air Hygiene Engineer, Fire Damper Technician, Fire Damper Engineer, Ventilation Technician, Grease Extract Technician, Ductwork Engineer, Fire Damper Remedial Engineer.
