Hours: Monday Thursday: 22 00, Friday: 18 00

Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for a night shift role in a fast-paced, team-focused environment? We re on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our night team and ensure the smooth running of our building and production equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, experienced Mechanical Engineer who thrives working independently and takes pride in their fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant, buildings, and production equipment
• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of mechanical systems
• Work as part of a team of two Mechanical Engineers during the night shift
• Ensure compliance with health and safety through proper use of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Keep accurate logs and handovers, updating all reporting systems as required
• Proactively identify hazards and report potential issues

What We re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally with exposure to crane systems and the ability to work at height
• Solid background in reactive and preventative mechanical maintenance
• Flexible and reliable team player, happy to work night shifts as standard
• Strong understanding of health and safety in mechanical maintenance settings
• Good communication skills and a commitment to excellent service delivery
• Desirable: multi-skilled knowledge (electrical, fabric, water hygiene, etc.), IPAF, Legionella Awareness, H&S training
