Architect - Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) - Stafford

We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead Digital, Data and Technology initiatives within the Stafford area. The position requires full Security Clearance (NPPV3, SC, CTC, DBS & Financial) and high priority vetting before employment can commence.

£63,522 per annum + Extensive Company Benefits + Excellent Working Environment.

Key Technical Design Areas: Technical Design / TDA, High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), Remote Secure Devices / Mobile Networking, Cisco, Juniper, HP, Microsoft Security, Entra , Azure AD, O365 / M365 / D365, Virtualisation, Applications.

Qualifications

Required:

• Networking, Network Security & Network Infrastructures, Cisco & HP.
• Firewalls, Gateways, Threat, Vulnerability, Intrusion & Detection.
• Integrated Communications (ICCS), Mobile & Remote Devices & GIS Mapping.
• Microsoft Suite of Technologies & Applications, Microsoft Security, Entra , Azure , MFA, Azure, O365 / M365 / D365.

Responsibilities:

• Creative ideation and concept development for the Architecture Team.
• Detailed design of software and supporting infrastructure for solutions.
• Contribute to impact assessment, provide SME input and high‑level cost estimates.
• Define and maintain documentation of current software portfolio and interface architecture.
• Review legislation changes and assess impact on technology standards.
• Use architecture to guide and align programme solutions for coherence, re‑use, and integration.
• Ensure programmes and projects deliver the right technology components and avoid duplicating functionality.
• Present architecture outputs to stakeholders across technical levels.
• Define, manage and govern infrastructure standards for deployment of business, data, and application services.

Key Technical

Skills:

Technical Design / TDA, HLD / LLD, Networking, Cisco, Juniper, HP, Microsoft Security, Entra , Azure AD, O365 / M365 / D365, Virtualisation, Applications.

Certification Advantage: ITIL, TOGAF, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware Certifications are advantageous but not imperative.
