Sapphire Utility Solutions is seeking a Lining 2nd Man to join the team and grow and progress their career in the utilities sector while working for a growing company.

Location:

Stafford

Hours:

50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
Salary:
Up to £16.50 per hour

• Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit
• Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually run a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
• Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)
• Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
• Risk assessments and updating work packs
• Dealing with customers
• The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend
• Working away will also be required on occasion as we cover multiple contracts across the country

• Flexible working approach, may need to work overtime such as at weekends
• Ability to work in all weathers
• Ability to cover long distances by foot
• The desire to progress within the company
• Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential)
