Volunteer Group Support (Stafford)
Do you want to help people change the direction of their lives and reach their full potential? Join our Dependency & Recovery Service as a Group Support Volunteer and play a vital role in supporting individuals on probation impacted by substance misuse.
What you’ll do- Support our group sessions alongside experienced coordinators
- Help plan and prepare activities
- Promote sessions and encourage attendance
- Engage with service users and provide one-to-one support
- Receive full training and ongoing guidance
- Make a real impact in your community
- Gain valuable experience in recovery and rehabilitation work
- Develop transferable skills in communication, facilitation, and support
- Enhance your CV and boost career prospects in health, social care, or criminal justice
- Receive full training and ongoing support
- Be part of a passionate, supportive team
- Staitheford House, Stafford
- Wednesdays, AM
- Enhanced DBS check (Enhanced Level 1 vetting for National Probation Service)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
