Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Staffordshire for an Irrigation Team Leader at Littywood Farm. The individual will oversee the irrigation team to ensure optimal water management and distribution for crop care.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and executing irrigation schedules
  • Monitoring equipment performance
  • Conducting maintenance tasks
  • Working closely with other team members to address irrigation challenges
  • Troubleshooting systems
  • Scheduling repairs
  • Ensuring efficient water usage to support high-quality fruit production
Qualifications
  • Practical skills in irrigation system management, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment operation.
  • Experience in teamwork and leadership, including ability to lead and coordinate a team effectively on-site.
  • Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and water conservation techniques.
  • Understanding and application of agricultural technologies to support irrigation and crop health.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and adapt to the physical demands of the role.
  • Relevant experience in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
  • A passion for sustainable agriculture and maintaining high standards of fruit production is a plus.
