Responsibilities

You will be based in our Audit & Assurance department where you will gain valuable insights into how Not For Profit organisations operate and the challenges they face. Your responsibilities will grow as you progress through the programme, and include carrying out a detailed, risk‑based review of a company’s financials to determine whether the financial statements are an accurate reflection. We look to challenge the financial operations of a company and help to improve the internal processes of a business, giving confidence to stakeholders.

Your career with Menzies will not stop once you complete your AAT qualification – you may have the opportunity to progress onto further studies such as a 3‑year ACA qualification.

Qualifications
  • Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
  • Minimum of 2 x A levels (A‑C) and one other A level or equivalent
  • 5 GCSEs grades A*‑C or 9‑4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
  • Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
  • Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
