The Role We are seeking an experienced SAP ISU IDE Consultant to join our dynamic IT Service Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for the ISU IDE/Meter works/Device/Workflow areas of SAP systems that support critical business functions. You will collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders for day-to-day operations and projects. Your Responsibilities (Up to 10, avoid repetition):
Provide subject matter expertise and support for the ESB's SAP Systems in the area of IDE, Device, Meter works and Workflow.

Experience with SMART projects and/or AMI/MDMS Provide end user support for SAP ISU. Investigate and resolve support calls raised by the business Work on internal SAP projects and Change Requests as required. Identify potential process improvements opportunities across the SAP landscape. Liaise with a variety of stakeholders in the specification, development and testing of enhancements/modifications to the SAP solution. Complete knowledge transfer for respective application areas to other members of the ESB team.

Work alongside Team Leads, Delivery Leads, Functional SME's and Solution Architects to identify and manage risks. Managing change request scoping to include:
Estimation and design preparing functional specifications Implementation completing system configuration Liaising closely with ABAP / Basis and Security teams during build phase Your Profile Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience (Up to 10, avoid repetition):
Hands-on functional experience in SAP ISU area of IDE, Device, Meter works and Workflow. Knowledge of Meter works and Service Orders, Notifications and tasks, Hands-on experience with Workflow Configuration desirable. Bulk creation of service orders. Experience in functional specification writing, functional/integration/performance testing/regression testing etc. Reporting and documentation/writing for audit reasons and for smooth transition of projects to support. Stakeholder management, negotiation and communication Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are mandatory for interaction with different stakeholders involved in the Projects (i.e. in the business process definition stages, design, testing etc.

with technical and non-technical people). Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience (As applicable):
Knowledge of the Electricity and Gas markets North and South in Ireland is desirable Knowledge of standard testing practices for SAP Projects is a must.

Experience with the application HP Quality Centre is an advantage (i.e. for the creation and execution of test scripts and the resolution of defects) Ability to maintain a common set of scoping, design, implementation and test artefacts and templates in line with agreed project definitions

Experience of working on large SAP projects
