Keep GDI facilities clean and sanitary as a Lead Hand using janitorial skills and independent time management. Work full time, Monday to Friday days.
GDI Services (Canada) LP delivers facility maintenance services across Canada and the United States. This Lead Hand position focuses on cleaning washrooms, cafeterias, offices, and waste areas. You will disinfect surfaces, maintain orderly spaces, and report maintenance needs to a supervisor while working independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and disinfect washrooms, including fixtures and floors
- Maintain cafeteria tables, chairs, counters, and surrounding areas
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
- Dust, vacuum, and sanitize office spaces
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
