About the Role
This role is suited to an independent digital marketing, social media and communications professional who can take ownership of day-to-day digital platforms and performance outcomes. The focus is on managing engagement, handling inbound queries, and converting digital interactions into bookings and sales across multiple brands. This is a strong step-up opportunity for a junior professional looking to grow into a more performance-focused, mid-level role.
Key Responsibilities
- Take day-to-day ownership of social media and digital communication platforms across multiple branded profiles
- Manage inbound enquiries across social media, Whats App, email, Google Business, and related digital channels
- Convert engagement and queries into bookings and sales through timely, accurate, and professional communication
- Create, schedule, and manage organic social media content, supported by selective and trackable paid media activity
- Maintain consistent response times, including coordination of after-hours query handling where required
- Track and report on key performance indicators including engagement, response times, and conversion outcomes
- Maintain and update digital platforms including social media accounts, business listings, websites, and online profiles
- Support light website content updates to improve traffic flow and booking conversions
- Coordinate email communications and assist with implementing simple CRM or enquiry tracking solutions
- Engage with influencers or content partners where appropriate and aligned to brand needs
- Handle occasional phone-based enquiries and ensure clear communication routing
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in social media management, digital marketing, or digital communications
- Comfort taking ownership of platforms and managing tasks independently
- Experience handling customer enquiries through digital channels
- Basic understanding of performance metrics and digital reporting
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience managing business profiles such as Google Business listings
- Familiarity with website content management systems or willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Interest in developing performance marketing and conversion skills
- Availability to work full-time with flexibility toward afternoon and evening coverage
