The Role

As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll manage more complex accounting tasks and play a key role in supporting team members. You'll prepare and review management accounts, assist with year-end accounts and tax complications, and have direct client contact. This position is ideal for someone who's part-qualified and looking to progress towards a Client Manager role.

• Prepare and review management and year-end accounts
• Prepare VAT Returns and Corporation Tax computations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and advisory tasks
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries
• Support and mentor trainees and juniors
• Use Xero, Syft, Apron, Tax Calc and Engager to manage workflow

• ACA/ACCA part-qualified
• 2 to 4 years' experience in practice
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Experience with Xero and other cloud software
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Team-oriented approach with mentoring ability
