A growing housing provider in Hertfordshire is seeking a Resident Services Officer to join their collaborative team. This is a chance to make a real impact by supporting residents and ensuring repairs and maintenance services run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for resident enquiries (phone, email, face‑to‑face, webchat).
- Diagnose and schedule repairs using specialist IT systems.
- Coordinate works with internal teams and external contractors.
- Plan and allocate work for maintenance operatives to ensure efficiency.
- Respond to and resolve resident repair complaints.
- Process invoices and manage contractor communications.
- Support colleagues with resident issues and tenancy processes.
- Strong customer service skills and excellent communication.
- Proven experience in repairs administration or scheduling, ideally within housing or property services.
- Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
Team player who can also work independently with initiative.
Desirable:
Knowledge of housing management services, repairs, and maintenance processes.
