Overview

Certain Advantage is hiring for an Electrical Systems Engineer based in the Stevenage area. This role is on a contract basis and is office-based.

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and separate Space and Defense division.

This role is for an Electrical Systems Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed. You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Interpretation of electrical and functional test requirements
• Provide test solutions
• Development and debug of Automatic Test procedures (ATP) using a bespoke high-level S/W language
• Support Spacecraft systems functional and performance tests during environmental test

We're looking for people who can show:

• Writing test sequences/scripts for execution of spacecraft tests from the Central Checkout System (CCS)
• Spacecraft systems and subsystem technical knowledge
• Programming and scripting languages such as C, Java, Python, TCL, VBA
• Knowledge of system testing & Verification

• Hourly rate circa £55 via Umbrella company
• Training and Development
