What you will need

British nationality and SC clearance eligible

• Significant experience in mechanical design and development

• Ability to lead design work packages within multidisciplinary teams

• Awareness of proving and qualification activities to meet requirements

Key Responsibilities

Leading the development of mechanical solutions across complex systems.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from concept to production.
Applying robust design techniques such as DFMEA, DFA, and DFM.
Engaging with suppliers and stakeholders to influence design outcomes.
Supporting compliance, proving, and qualification activities.
Contributing to structural, thermal, or dynamic analysis as needed.
Your experience

Degree, HND or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Extensive mechanical design experience in complex systems.
Strong 3D CAD/CAE skills (training on preferred tools provided).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence effectively.

Experience of supplier engagement and multi-cultural team collaboration.
Calm, professional, and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
