Position: Senior Simulation and Modelling Engineer (Permanent)
Senior/Principal Simulation and Modelling Engineer
Salary:
Circa £55,000, Depending on Experience

Stevenage - Primarily On-Site Working with World-Class Equipment

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineer/ physicist/mathematician to join a specialist team working on the modelling and simulation of complex air defence systems.

You will focus on the development, integration and validation of numerical models that influence design and performance from early concepts through to in-service use.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and validate models using MATLAB and Simulink
Work alongside system designers, software developers and external partners
Support automation, testing and continuous integration processes
Ensure coding standards, peer reviews and configuration management are followed
Contribute to model reviews, technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration

Skills and Experience:

Proven coding expertise, ideally in MATLAB, Simulink or similar
Strong knowledge of dynamic systems and numerical modelling

Experience with automated C/C++ code generation
Familiarity with version control tools, e.g. Git, EWM
Ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners
