Position Overview: Tetra Tech is seeking a Highway Engineer / Transport Planner to support the Development Management Implementation (DMI) Team in Hertfordshire. This role involves supporting highway schemes, preparing transport assessments, and providing technical support within a collaborative environment. The position offers a hybrid working approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of highway schemes for the public sector or developers.
• Assist in the preparation and review of Transport Assessments and related documents.
• Provide pre-application advice to developers on transport and highways matters.
• Collaborate with team members and develop your skills through mentoring.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in highway design or transport planning.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD.
• Desirable experience in transport assessments and pre-application advice.
• Qualified in civil engineering, transport planning, or related fields (HNC/HND/Degree/Master).
• Membership in professional bodies like ICE or CIHT is desirable.
