Junior Technical Draughtsperson

/   / Junior Technical Draughts person This role is ideal for someone with a technical mindset and a keen eye for accuracy who’s looking to develop within a specialist field. You’ll be producing detailed service drawings and layouts covering HVAC, gas, electrical, water, and waste systems.
** Experience with Revit is essential.
** You will be enthusiastic about learning how building services integrate within commercial kitchen environments.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Produce accurate and detailed Revit drawings for commercial kitchen installations
* Assist in the coordination and layout of building services, including ventilation, gas, electrical, water, and waste systems
* Attend site meetings under supervision and independently, carrying out site surveys
* Update and maintain technical documentation throughout project stages
* Work closely with the Technical Design Manager and wider Design Team to ensure drawings meet client specifications and compliance standards
* Apply technical standards and regulations to all drawings
* Support quality control processes across all project outputs
** The Fit:

* Technically minded with good spatial awareness and attention to detail
* Eager to learn about building services and technical design principles
* Organised and methodical in your approach
* A good communicator and team player
* Comfortable working with digital design tools

Preferred background:
* Practical
** experience with Revit
** in a commercial/business environment is
** essential
* ** Qualification or studies in Building Services, Mechnical/Electrical Engineering, Design Engineering or related discipline
* Experience in technical drawing or draughting (this can be academic or placement-based)
* Interest in further developing skills in Revit and BIM workflows
