Management Accountant

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong project accounting and long-term planning experience, gained specifically within a manufacturing environment
. This role blends hands‑on management accounting with genuine business partnering, supporting operational and commercial teams while driving visibility, control and performance across the business.

You’ll play a key role in providing insight around project costs, margins, operational efficiency, and future planning – helping the business make confident, informed decisions.

• Produce monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial controls are followed across sites.
• Support statutory reporting processes and audit requirements as needed.

• Lead financial reporting for key manufacturing projects, providing clarity on costs, profitability and timelines.
• Work closely with engineering, production and project teams to monitor performance and identify risks or opportunities.

• Support strategic planning cycles, including long‑range forecasting, scenario modelling and capacity planning.
• Develop models to support operational and commercial decision‑making.
• Provide insight into cost drivers, production trends and margin expectations.

• Act as a trusted advisor to operations, production, supply chain and commercial teams.
• Translate financial information into meaningful insight for non‑finance stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes, reporting and systems.
