• Running Sage Payroll accurately and efficiently
• Supporting monthly management accounts and month-end close
• Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining and updating Excel-based financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Supporting day-to-day finance operations and ad hoc finance tasks

A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:

• Proven experience using Sage Payroll (essential)
• Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas and data manipulation)
• Solid all-round finance experience
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to pick up processes quickly and work independently
