ISS are a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, and they are seeking a Business Improvement Manager, with a strong Facilities Management background, to join one of their UK wide, growing accounts on a permanent basis.
The role of Business Improvement Manager is key to the ongoing delivery of continually improving service delivery, meeting the contract objectives and the strengthening of the customer relationship. The role is essential to delivering the contract expectations whilst maintaining Account performance. It is a highly autonomous role that requires a strong proactive can-do attitude and a high degree of initiative.
Key Responsibilities- Responsibility for the developing and implementing business improvement initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of the customer and ISS, implementing technology and ESG solutions to drive business improvement and to identify and implement contractual cost saving initiatives
- Support Key Performance Indicators
- To lead by example as part of the Account Senior Leadership Team, motivating and engaging with a multi-site workforce in excess of 100 employees across 6 sites
- To monitor performance against SLA’s and KPI’s across each site in line with customer expectations and ensure Monthly / Quarterly Reports are collated and delivered to the customer reporting timelines
- Lead innovation and improvement across the Account providing improved performance and cost savings in line with contractual requirements
- Lead on the training matrix, account induction
- Benchmarking service productivity and providing improvement plans
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop best in class buy or build strategy for services
- Delivery of service excellence across all service lines, including assisting with the implementation of ISS Key concepts and development of Lighthouse sites.
- Promote a strong safety culture, with adherence to company processes for risk assessment, training, safe working, accident reporting and investigation
- Positively influence customer relationships to ensure regular contact is maintained and service delivery expectations are achieved / exceeded. Strengthen customer relationships whilst protecting operational margins
- Experienced operational manager or senior administrator in a facility service environment
- Must be highly numerate and literate with strong financial acumen
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into successful operational solutions
- Demonstrable track record in implementing innovation and cost saving solutions
- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint as a minimum)
