Quality Inspector – Parker Hannifin
Join Parker Hannifin as a Quality Inspector in Stevenage, helping to maintain the highest standards of product quality across aerospace and high‑technology markets.
Position SummaryAs a Quality Inspector you will operate under general direction, monitoring, testing, and inspecting products to ensure they meet specified standards and function as designed. You will work in laboratory settings to perform real‑world condition tests, use measuring tools, run Coordinate Measuring Machines, and participate in root cause and corrective action activities.
Responsibilities- Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed.
- Operate microscopes, micrometers, calipers, gauges, volt‑meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment.
- Program and run Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) machines (Laser Tracker).
- Participate in RCA/Corrective Action (RCCA) activities such as A3 and 8D.
- Create and complete paperwork such as Process Maps, PPAP, Control Plans and FMEAs.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in quality inspection, preferably in engineering.
- Knowledge of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirements.
- Systematic, disciplined, analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Customer‑oriented, with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and database tools.
- Ability to prepare reports and perform data analysis.
