Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client, a leading manufacturing business in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Quality Inspector to work alongside a retiring subject matter expert. This role is ideal for someone with relevant experience who is also looking for career progression. • Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed.
• Work with laboratory and real‑world testing conditions using tools such as micrometers, callipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment.
• Program and run Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Laser Trackers.
• Participate in root‑cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities such as A3 and 8D’s.
• Create and complete documentation including Process Maps, PPAP, Control Plans, and FMEAs.

• 3 years’ experience in Quality Inspection (engineering background advantageous).
• Knowledge of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical, systematic problem‑solving approach.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and make improvement recommendations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and database management tools.
