CK Group are recruiting for an Electrophysiologist to join an innovative biotech with a strong pipeline of pre‑clinical and clinical candidates. The role will be fully based at their laboratories in Stevenage
.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities- As Electrophysiologist you will join a small focused preclinical R&D group focused on the discovery and development of novel ion channel therapeutics.
- Planning, execution and analysis of electrophysiology focused experiments to drive drug discovery and new target validation.
- Giving scientific presentations at internal and external meetings including conferences and to partner companies.
- A relevant PhD will be preferred.
- Experience with in in‑vitro whole cell patch.
- A strong understanding of ion chemistry, neuroscience and the principles of electrophysiology and pharmacology.
- Experience with sold supported membrane‑based electrophysiology (SSME) is desirable.
- Competitive salary ranging between 30000 - 40000.
