Embedded Ada Software Engineer – Real-Time Datalink
Working Pattern:
Hybrid – 4 days on-site
Security Clearance:
British Citizen or Dual UK National

The Opportunity

Join my Client's Real-Time Datalink Software team and help develop airborne communication software for missiles and platforms.

This is a hands-on embedded role where you’ll:

* Capture requirements and define embedded software architecture

* Implement hard real-time systems in Ada

* Conduct verification, testing, and code reviews

* Work with Hardware, Firmware, Systems, and Test Engineers

* Help shape the future of Datalink protocols and technical design

You’ll gain experience with state-of-the-art technology, the full software lifecycle, and opportunities for career growth and international collaboration.

What they are looking for.

* Proven experience in embedded Ada software development

* Lab experience with components and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes)

* Hard real-time software development and RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS)

Desirable:

Communication protocols (SPI, UART, Ethernet), model-based development (UML/Rhapsody), system integration, and performance analysis.
