Senior Business Analyst – PermanentWe are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help M&G Life achieve some of our key strategic objectives. You will lead viability analysis, support larger and more complex projects delivered by our strategic partners, and mentor a team of Business Analysts.
Key Responsibilities- Lead viability analysis for small, medium and large sized projects and provide oversight across a portfolio of activity.
- Define and direct the overall approach for your team of Analysts, set priorities, coach, set standards and provide assurance over analysis deliverables.
- Analyse and understand business problems and opportunities with business partners to deliver desired outcomes and strategic drivers.
- Lead solution design definition and ensure robust design governance framework is followed.
- Provide oversight and assurance of analysis and solution design activity delivered by our strategic partners.
- Collaborate and communicate with sponsors and stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Interpret data from a range of sources and help the team make data‑driven decisions.
- Create user flows, wireframes and map business processes to represent current structure and future design of a product or service.
- Think creatively and find opportunities for continuous improvement of the delivery model.
- Set and manage expectations, recognise importance of managing upwards and work with opposing views to reach consensus.
- Comfortable working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid projects, and understand advantages and disadvantages of each methodology.
- Adhere to Change Governance standards.
- Leading other Business Analysts and managing multiple deliverables across a portfolio of activity.
- Successful delivery throughout full project life‑cycle across a broad spectrum of project types and environments.
- Resolving ambiguity where stakeholder priorities are unclear or conflicting.
- Setting up and facilitating workshops to understand business needs and gather requirements.
- Experience of working with and providing oversight of 3rd party partners and providers.
- Financial Services products and practices experience.
- Relevant professional qualifications.
