• Control the movement and security of all retail vehicles on site
• Maintain accurate and true records at all times when releasing or receiving vehicles
• Ensure cars are fully prepared to the correct standards and customer requirements for delivery
• Accept delivery of all New and Used Vehicles, carry out necessary checks (damage, paperwork etc.)
• Report any damage or paperwork discrepancies immediately to management
• Conduct accurate and timely appraisals of all retail vehicles taken into stock and the arrangement of required work
• Give direction and prioritise work for Workshop Controller
• Give direction and prioritise workload for Car Valeters
• Carry out regular checks on all used car stock to maintain Approved Used Car standards.
• Maintain all Used Cars on display to required standards, this includes a weekly log to be maintained for tyre pressures
• Maintain the photographic ratio of all cars advertised to be above 90%
• All approved Used cars to be prepared within 5 working days
• Maintain demonstrators to the highest standards
• Maintain all showroom cars to the required standards, including, including maintaining a battery check log
• Make sure all auction cars are available for collection with the required paperwork
