whatyou’lldo:

the difference you will make:

as an assistant merchandising insights manager,you’llsupport the business insights team by helping turn data into clear, actionable insights that support commercial decision-making.

working closely with senior insights manager and cross-functional partners,you’ll contribute to regular reporting, analysis, and insight generation to help “bring the consumer to life” across our retail partners.

this is an ideal role for someone early in their insights or analytics career who is curious, detail-oriented, and keen to develop their commercial understanding.

a day in the life:

own the delivery of specific weekly and monthly performance reporting for key retail partners

support the commercial team withidentifyingkey trends,risksand opportunities through analysing sell-out (consumer) data.

identify and communicate data driven insights & recommendations to internal stakeholders

as part of a wider insights team, deliver weekly trade reviews: owning specific area of responsibility, ensuring data accuracy & clear communication / story telling

execute ad-hoc analysis & deep dives to support commercial priorities & senior team members

work collaboratively with the reporting team to enable the delivery ofaccurate& on-time reporting, plus supporting the maintenance and improvement of dashboard & tools as needed

positivelyimpactthe monthly future forecasting processes through data collection, validation & analysis of sales & inventory data for specific area of responsibility

collaborate & actively build relationships with colleagues across sales, brand, digital and finance to support shared objectives

continually review yourobjectivesand development goals with your line manager

strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers

good communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly and simply

well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

relevant working experience ininsights, analytics, merchandising, or a commercial function

good working knowledge of excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic analysis)

experience of using or exposure to reporting or dashboard tools (e.g.powerbi)

experience in editing reporting or dashboard tools (e.g.powerbi) is an advantage, but not essential

mindset: curious, questioning, agile, pro-active & action oriented

interest in developing data visualisation and insight storytelling skills

university degree is preferred
