Our team of more than 175 professionals operates from offices in south Manchester, Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow. We are looking for a senior electrical engineer to join the Stockport office with UK and some EU travel.

• a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems engineering
• significant experience gained post‑university in electrical power generation/transmission infrastructure, including design, project management and commissioning
• experience in HV, MV and LV, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, HV and LV switch gear, substations, switchyards and coordination with UK DNOs
• professional communication skills – attends project meetings, writes and delivers high‑quality technical reports and models
• experience with sector‑specific electrical engineering software
• feasibility studies, due diligence and design reviews
• excellent understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering
• site and factory acceptance testing experience
• site‑based construction monitoring in the UK or Ireland
• ability to work as part of a wider engineering team and independently as required
