We’re looking for a skilled Repair Technician to join an industry leading electronics business near Manchester. As Repair Technician you’ll play a vital part in building, testing, fault finding, and repairing electronic assemblies and components to the highest industry standards. Repair Technician
- Roles & Responsibilities – Electronics / PCB / Repair / Assembly / Test
Conduct testing, diagnostics, and repair of electronic assemblies down to component level.
Use a range of test and measurement equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and bench PSUs.
Follow detailed test procedures, technical drawings, and documentation accurately.
Perform soldering and rework on both thru-hole and SMT components to IPC-610 standards.
Identify and resolve electronic faults efficiently, ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
Support continuous improvement and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient lab environment.
Collaborate effectively with engineers and production teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Repair Technician - Skills and Experience – Electronics / PCB / Repair / Assembly / Test
HNC/D (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
Experience in electronics assembly, testing, and diagnostics.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills to component level.
Proven soldering and rework capabilities (thru-hole and SMT) to IPC-610 standards.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when following technical documentation, circuit diagrams and test procedures.
Must be eligible to work in the UK
