White Label is hiring a Senior Installation and Maintenance Engineer for an engineering business based in Stockport.
They design and build high-precision machinery used for inspection and simulation applications. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to add a Senior Installation and Maintenance Engineer to the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative, cutting-edge systems in a hands-on and technically varied role.
* £50,000 - £55,000
* Annual discretionary bonus + pension
* Stockport (office-based with UK and international travel – typically no more than 8 trips per year, up to 2 weeks each)
Responsibilities of the Senior Installation and Maintenance Engineer
* Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
* Lead complex service interventions and installation projects
* Mentor and train junior engineers in best practice and advanced fault-finding
* Oversee system performance, carry out audits, and ensure equipment reliability
* Maintain accurate service documentation and system records
* Work closely with design and product teams to resolve technical issues and drive improvements
* Engage directly with customers, ensuring clear communication and high-quality service delivery
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards, legislation, and internal procedures
Experience required of the Senior Installation and Maintenance Engineer
* Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
* 5+ years in a similar engineering role with proven fault-finding and repair experience
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems
* Experience with Operational Technology (OT) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) would be an advantage
* Excellent communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills
* Full UK driving licence and valid passport essential
