Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Facilities) £35,000-£40,000  Training  Progression  Days Only Southend-on-Sea Are you an Apprentice trained engineer or have a recognised qualification such as a HND or HNC? Are you looking for a permanent full-time role that offers extensive on the job training and clear paths of progression? You'll get hands-on experience carrying out maintenance on all the machinery across the site, with full on-the-job training provided. It's a great chance to learn new skills, work alongside experienced colleagues, and be part of Southend's most exciting attraction from day one. This hands-on role is ideal for someone eager to develop their mechanical skills in a real-world setting. You'll maintain a variety of mechanical systems and attractions, ensuring rides and equipment run safely and smoothly.

With plenty of variety and new challenges, you'll grow your expertise across different areas while working within a supportive team. It's a great opportunity to build a strong foundation and make an impact from day one. 45-hour week (Mon-Sun, 5-day rota). This role would suit an Apprentice Trained Engineer or someone who has a recognised qualification such as a HND/HNC or similar.

The Role:

Carry out planned and preventative maintenance within a safety-critical environment. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems, using technical drawings and engineering knowledge. Work to UK standards and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. 45-hour week - Monday to Sunday, 5-day rota.

The Person :
Apprentice-trained engineer or HND/HNC/ ONC / Level 3 BTEC qualification. Commutable to Southend-on-Sea. Reference: BBBH
