Senior Refrigeration Engineer

Senior Refrigeration Engineer - North West - Up to £45,000

We are looking for Refrigeration Engineers to work on properties across the North West of the UK, working as part of a team for a well‑established Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Process Engineering company. The role is mobile and will be performing planned and reactive service, attending breakdowns, fault‑finding and maintenance works on a variety of chillers, process cooling systems, blast freezers, spiral freezers and walk‑in freezers.

Private healthcare, death in service, company‑contributed pension. There will be a call‑out rota and overtime at additional rates. All tools, vehicle, PPE and equipment are provided to perform the role.

• Experience working within industrial and commercial properties and holding an F‑Gas qualification.
• Experience in commissioning, maintenance and servicing of commercial & industrial refrigeration equipment and chillers using HFC / HFO and natural refrigerants.
• Experience with controls and integration.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Perform planned and reactive service, attend breakdowns, fault‑finding and maintenance works on a variety of chillers, process cooling systems, blast freezers, spiral freezers & walk‑in freezers.
• Manage customer service and maintenance contracts.
• First point of contact for business development with existing clients and communication with BRS management & projects team.
• Communicate and plan material and engineer requirements with admin for follow‑up work.
• Support management of equipment RAG statuses to sites and provide feedback to projects teams for opportunities (weekly review meetings).
• Suitability for roles such as Cooling Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Senior Refrigeration Engineer or Lead Engineer.
