Your Role The fostering service has within it three teams, the Connected Carers Team, the Mainstream Support and Supervision team and the Mainstream Recruitment and Assessment team.

The team leader vacancy is within the Connected Carers Team.

Managing a team of Assessing Social Workers who are responsible for Kinship Assessments.

You will also take the lead with the task of duty, managing social workers who are responsible for Viability Assessments and Regulation 24 Assessments.

You will also act as duty manager for the Mainstream Support and Supervision team when their manager is unavailable.

Therefore it is important that you have extensiveness knowledge of a fostering service.

About You

You will need to have experience of working within a busy fostering service ideally at management level.

You will need the ability and confidence to work in a fast‑paced environment, a proven track record of prioritising workloads, be passionate about providing the best possible care for our local children and be committed to the future growth of the service.
