Job DescriptionThis is your opportunity to grow as a Developer in an environment built on collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects from day one, gaining hands‑on experience across the full development lifecycle and developing the skills to build secure, high‑quality software that makes a genuine impact.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of software that delivers new features and improvements across front‑ and back‑end systems.
- Write and deploy clean, scalable, testable, and secure code with guidance from senior developers.
- Assist with technical support and issue resolution to maintain reliable, high‑quality systems.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements, define tasks, and manage workload via Azure Dev Ops.
- Support our modernisation journey by helping to transition legacy platforms into more efficient, sustainable solutions.
- Some hands‑on experience with at least one of the following modern development languages or frameworks: .NET, Java, or Python.
- A basic understanding of SQL and working with relational databases.
- A natural curiosity for learning new languages, tools, and approaches.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and share ideas openly.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to help and continuously improve.

Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is available. Initially based in Stockport with a move to Manchester Science Park mid‑to‑late 2026.
