Social Personnel is advertising a Social Worker role for Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic Children’s Services team. This is a non-case holding role, focused on delivering high-quality specialist assessments that inform safeguarding and permanency planning.
About the Role
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:

* Undertake specialist assessments including Parent Assess, sibling and parenting assessments, viability assessments, and AIM frameworks.

* Provide clear, evidence-based reports to support care planning and court proceedings.

* Work collaboratively with social workers, managers, and multi-agency professionals to support decision-making in complex cases.

* Attend key meetings such as Legal Planning Meetings and Court Hearings.

* Keep up to date with legislation, guidance, and best practice in children’s social care.
About You
We are looking for:

* A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

* Proven experience in completing complex assessments and producing high-quality reports.

* Knowledge of specialist frameworks such as Parent Assess, AIM3, and CASPR (desirable).

* Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

* The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
